Liberty Children's Home, which was opened in 2007, is now in need of some refurbishment. We have recently carried out work in the girl's washing area, to improve the conditions, to make it more higienic and now we want to carrying out similar work in the boy's area. At the same time we want to upgrade all of the children's wash and toilet cubicles. All that Doug raises in sponsorship, will go towards this project.
Doug Hunter is a trustee of the UK charity, Liberty Children's Home. He is 68 and on 28th April it will be his 5th London Marathon. He finished the 2017 Marathon in under 4 hours but with injury keeping him out last year and now 2 years older, he will be happy to finish in under 4 1/2 hours, this time.
